A new web site ``Radio monitoring of solar activity" which is a joint effort of several groups was recently opened. In this presentation, I shall first present the most recent development which is, for each day, an access to STEREO/SWAVES and WIND/WAVES spectra plus zooms (24 hour coverage). I shall show a few examples of interesting events. This monitoring (as well as other tools under development for fast access to imaging radio observations in connection with imaging STEREO and SOHO observations) provides the possibility of selecting easily different classes of events for more detailed data analysis. I shall illustrate this possibility in coming back to the problem of the solar origin of respectively low and high energy impulsive electron events. I shall present a few preliminary results of this study made in collaboration with L. Wang, R. P. Lin and D. Maia.
