She was born in Athens (1980). She completed her undergraduate studies in archaeology at the University of Athens (2002), before following a postgraduate program at the University of Oxford, where she completed her doctoral thesis as a scholar of Greek Scholarship Foundation (2008).
She is a specialist of Greek pottery of the Geometric and early Archaic eras. On the basis of a contextual analysis, she uses pottery as a research tool for the reconstruction of the structures of the early Greek societies.
She has published articles in Greek and international scientific journals. As a field archaeologist, she participates in the systematic excavations of the archaic sanctuary of Despotiko (Antiparos) and the settlement of Thorikos in Laurion of Attica, while studying pottery from different sites.
