I am interested in supervising MA and PhD students engaged in research in the economic and social history of modern Greece, Mediterranean countries, Ottoman Empire and the Balkans. Students with an interest in the history of gender (masculinity as well as femininity), labour history, industrialization, urban history, welfare state, social history of technology and science, social history of medicine, industrial archaeology and material culture, Jewish history history of the Mediterranean, global history, public history are welcomed.
