RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

From 1967 until 1983: radioanalytical chemistry, microcalorimetry, photoelectrochemistry. Since 1984: in charge of the biosensor group at IFoS Research activities of IFoS are mainly focussed onto functionalization of microdevices for the optimization of micro-chemical (bio)sensors. Impedimetric, conductometric, silicon based micro-devices and micro-electrodes transducers have been studied, leading to micro-sensors for the detection of various ionic species, pesticides, urea, glucose, lactate and immunospecies

Role in the project
Group leader for partner 3 ECL

The group will contribute expertise in developing of impedance-based immunosensors for GMOs tracing and in developing specific surface functionalization processes in order to obtain the immobilization of the active biospecies in well engineered layers
