The wait is over! Introducing the 2 brand-new pilot clients for the VATSIM network.
In a very hot week, the online flying world was suddenly turned upside-down with the almost simultaneous public release of the two long-anticipated clients.
Squawkbox 3, the long awaited update from the previous well-known Squawkbox 2.x and FSInn, a completely new program are now available for download.
Squawkbox 3 features fully-automated installation and operation with everything it needs integrated,
leaving you to concentrate on flying. It also boasts 2-channel radio communications and improved movement smoothness, better visual models for other
aircraft and stability. It is recommended for beginners in the online flight world.
FSInn on the other hand, is the most advanced pilot client to date. It features extremely smooth aircraft
motion for others around you, visual models of your choice, and many other very innovative features like P2P connections that promise to make every single
flight unforgettable. It can adapt to your internet connection and hardware setup seamlessly, so that no resources go to waste.
Both of them can be used in multiple pc setups, boast online weather updates and include a very detailed manual but also intuitive interface. Online pilots are now spoilt for choice.
Which one? It is up to you to decide. One thing is certain though: online-flying will never be the same again. Safe landings to all!

New livery on Smile & Fly! aircraft.
Trying to change the image and increase the status of the airline, Smile & Fly!
changes the livery on the fleet. Now the aircraft are painted in blue and red, and a new and simplier logo has replaced the old one,

Smile & Fly! repaints two of the 737-800s in Special liveries.
After a special request, for marketing reasons, Boeing delivered the last 737-800 to Smile & Fly!
on a "Boeing Dreamliner" livery.
Together with the "Dreamliner" aircraft, Smile & Fly! painted an other 737-800 in a special
"Hellenic Memories" livery with pictures of the Parthenon, views from the greek islands, the Olympic stadium of Athens duering the start ceremony of the Olympics 2004,
and ofcourse the greek football team with their European football championship first place award.

New aircraft in the fleet
The test flights are finished and our new Fokker 70s are starting the flights on Thursday, February 5th 2004.
Our new aircraft will be used to operate our new regional destinations from Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion.

We proudly announce that we have agreed terms
with Emerald Air for a new codeshare partnership. We cebrate our new success by organizing an event on Sunday,

Our new aircraft type has just arrived! The Boeing 737-600 will enter the fleet on Monday, November 17th and will be used to operate on domestic and International flights.
The same day some new destinations will be incorporated in the flight schedule such as Dublin, Geneva,
Lisbon, Dubai, Warsaw and Funshal. the B737-600 will wear 2 different liveries. The original and a special "WEB" livery!

"LGAV Complete"
Between 17:00 and 22:00Z, on October 19th The "LGAV Complete" Fly-In will be in action! This event is meant to simulate all of the services
received at a real-life airport from clearance delivery to high-altitude cruise, as this is done at LGAV.

VATSIM Europe's OneSky3
Experience all Centre positions within the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation Network - Europe Region (VATEUR) staffed at
least between 1600 and 2200 UTC on 4 Oct 2003. Each country will provide complete staffing on Air Traffic Control
positions for enroute and one or two international Airports per FIR. Our three Divisions, plus VATSIM Israel (VATIL),
will for the third time cooperate to create a situation never seen before to online ATC & flying networks. An entire VATSIM
Region online, side to side. From Dublin to Ankara, from Moscow to Lisbon, and many many more. You will be able to
experience ATC and flights all around you as in real life; non stop all the way!
