Koumanakos Evangelos - Assistant Professor

Evangelos P. Koumanakos received his BSc in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia in 1996 and his MSc in Business Finance from Brunel University, UK, in 1997. He then worked as a credit underwriter in National Bank of Greece for almost ten years (2000-2009). In the meantime he received (2007) his PhD in the field of earnings management from the Department of Business Administration from the University of Patras.

He joined Department of Economics of the University of Ioannina as a faculty member in 2009. He currently holds the position of an Assistant Professor.

His research focuses on financial reporting, IFRS, auditing, corporate finance and SMEs issues. He is a member of EAA and HFAA associations.

He currently teaches the undergraduate courses "Accounting I", "Accounting II", "Financial Statements Analysis".
