“The image has been inspired by the biological action of silver complexes upon DNA and enzymes. The silver coin is the tetradrachm of Alexander the Great manufactured in the Mint of Amphipolis, at northern Greece (336-323 BC) and currently exhibiting in the British Museum. The lower part of the image depicts the cell nucleus with DNA and the upper part the lipoxygenase enzyme.”
